Americo is notified of the death of the insured electronically or via telephone call. We open a claim and forms are sent or can be downloaded from Americo.com.
Americo reviews the submitted documents, the policy, and other information. If we have questions or other information is needed, we will contact the beneficiary or person assisting them.
Claim forms are completed and submitted with other required documentation to the Claims Department at Americo.
