Often you will have an early start to classes throughout the day. Most of your classes would start at 8am meaning that the majority of your class days end at noon (this may vary during away game road trips).
Depending on the day of the week; you will have team practice at 1:30pm, 3pm, or 5pm in either the main gym or practice gym (this may vary on away trips).
Your meetings can consist of things like tutoring, injury treatment, mentorship, and even club or organization participation. To commit to things of this nature you will need great time management.
Around the Campus
Take a look at campus, some of the local restaurants and the new and improved sports facility.
Campus
Williamson St
Schar Center
Elon University, is beautiful campus with state of the art classrooms and lab computers. You can also look forward to a great dining experience as you will have the option to choose from 3 amazing dining halls. On campus you will also find there are a large number of clubs and organization incase you want to make your impact felt off the court as well. These are all tools Elon has offer as you strive for academic excellence.
Williamson Street is apart of the Town of Elon which is home to a handful of great local restaurants right across the street from campus. You can also find the campus bookstore on Williamson Street as well, right next to Smitty's the best ice cream in Alamance County. There are a couple of great coffe shops on Williamson Street that also make for great places to study.
The Schar Center is the Home of the Women's basketball, Men's basketall, and the Volleyball program. The 160,000 square foot facility opened its doors to it's three teams back in August 2018. It houses great lockeroom and training facilities as well as a awesome practice gym. The arena has a capacity of 5,100 which can be a crazy atmosphere during game time and its the largest sports facility on Elon's campus.
