We are Metro Hope, a residential, Christ-centered, drug and alcohol recovery program serving men, women, and mothers with children. Providing healing and hope for the whole family since 1926. Many of our residents are at the end of their options. Most have exhausted their support systems, lost their homes and are unable to support themselves or their families financially. Many have lost custody of their children and have experienced unemployment and homelessness. At Metro Hope, for a season of their lives, thousands of men and women in our programs have encountered Jesus and the hope He gives. On a daily basis, we are blessed to see people receive His grace, begin walking in His identity and strive to lead productive lives.

Project Details
This year The Collective is partnering with the GEN Found Children's Charity raise money for the renovations. GEN Children's Charity will be hosting a golf tournament, June 2022 to help facilitate fundraising.
The funds raised will go to making sure the onsite day care facility gets the needed renovations so that it can qualify for government funded assistance.
In addition to the daycare renovation, the group will look at other opportunities inside the facility to help with the day-to-day improvement of functionality and potential aesthetic updates. The team is also hoping to improve the exterior landscaping of the project by partnering with the Tabor Group, highlighted below is the rendering that the Tabor Group provided which the team is hopeful to execute.
Metro Hope Project Overview
The Collective is working to help transform Metro Hope’s Healing House, which is Metro Hope’s Women and Children’s Center, that residents call home while they are in recovery.
The team’s primary goal will be addressing the childcare center on site. Currently, while the daycare functions as it should, it falls short of some of the county and state requirements to be a fully funded daycare center. Our team intends to bring the space up to the requirements necessary for the Healing House to start receiving government financial assistance.
Beyond the daycare, we hope to be able to support some of the other general functional upgrades necessary to the Healing House, so they can continue to support their residents at the highest level.
We need your help. Metro Hope receives no state support for children in their care, or for their Christ-centered programs. Your financial gift or donation of suppplies goes to provide direct care for the children and residents at our centers. As a nonprofit ministry Metro Hope is dedicated to the individuals and families they serve. They need a community to stand with them, to demonstrate the Gospel to the hurting. Will you join them?
