What are their challenges?
For the last three years, Graebel has sponsored the annual APAC Workforce Mobility Strategy Summit and similar insideMOBILITY™ forums around the world. We see an increasing number of Talent Mobility professionals participating to learn from one another about innovations, trends and best practices.
We covered a lot in those 90 minutes—including:
It’s expected of every Graebel employee at all levels. Who do we learn from? Lots of sources–including our clients.

Defining success and return on investment – lots of things came up during the roundtables, but “skill set development” was mentioned quite a bit.

But here’s a secret…as we sit in on the meetings,
members of the Graebel team learn too, important things like:
We had a graphic recorder in each of the breakout rooms, who listened in on our session and recorded the flow of the discussion with drawings and notes. Fortunately, we wrapped up when we did or that artist would have had to mark up a second wall!
What can we do that's new, different and better to make their lives easier?
What's important to our clients?
We doubled our attendance since last year!
Our APAC Summit was held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Singapore—in my mind, a perfect symbol of the Mobility industry. It’s a historic building with a modern, renovated interior. Mobility respects tradition while embracing new opportunities, technology and thoughts.
As a Graebel team member in charge of Supply Chain Management in the APAC region, I looked forward to facilitating one of the morning breakout sessions, knowing there would be plenty to learn from a supplier’s perspective.
I did my best to keep up as well, and my notes have been combined with feedback from the other sessions and compiled in a summary report that’s just been released.
An interesting diversion into how mobility and talent management may have different goals but why they should work together.
