Pocari Sweat is a large Japanese brand known for being a healthier and a safer sports drink compared to other electrolyte competitors.
Raise awareness through an engaged audience social campaign encouraging active individuals to use Pocari Sweat’s step-mapping tool.
GumGum created two animated ads for Pocari Sweat: an In-Image ad touting the benefits of walking, and an In-Screen ad prompting the user to map their steps and post them to social media for the chance to win a Fitbit. Then, we leveraged our proprietary computer vision technology to direct the ads towards key demographics while they browsed relevant content.
The campaign drove 420 unique web users to sign up for the step-mapping tool and share their steps with their friends on social media. Overall, the ads achieved a 10.33% engagement rate— 3.2 times higher than the industry average.
Our ads were remarkably cost-effective at driving conversions as low as XX JPY per ad.
