Secret Sauce
The essence of Calcium is nourishment–nourishment of our clients and their brands, of our own extraordinary people, and of society and the wider world. We nourish through the richness of our insights, ideas, imagination, and innovation as well as through our caring and compassion. Ultimately, nourishment is about making things grow and thrive. This applies to the clients and brands we are privileged to serve–we are driven to use our skills and talents to give brands the strongest voice possible, helping them to get heard, get results, and get ahead. It also applies to the people of Calcium. We are committed to providing an agency environment–even virtually–that stimulates individuality, creativity, and personal growth. When our people grow, our clients benefit. And that’s how we grow, too.

In a word, Calcium culture can be described as nourishing. We recognize that our people (aka Calciumites) are at the vital core of everything we do. Therefore, we pay a great deal of attention to the “care and feeding” of the many diverse and talented individuals who constitute our agency, helping them thrive both professionally and personally.
One important way we nourish our people is by creating a work environment that’s open, honest, and accepting, that encourages the free expression of different ideas, experiences, and points of view. This attitude is reflected in the agency’s core values of commitment, integrity, and respect. By honoring each person’s unique voice and contribution, we nourish not only the person but also the talent. And that’s good for everyone.
Calcium’s tagline is “brand nourishment,” and that reflects the agency’s view that robust brand health is at the heart of business success. We nourish brands through our exclusive Growth Process, a rigorous system of insights, ideas, impact, imagination, and innovation that revolves around a foundational understanding of the brand in both rational and emotional dimensions.
Although the agency is highly focused on its core competencies of strategy and creative, we are also keenly attuned to the ways in which ideas achieve real-world impact. We therefore offer an expansive capability in customer activation, engagement, analytics, and technology across media channels, with a particular emphasis in digital. Yet, however powerful our strategy and creative, these things only change hearts and minds–and, most importantly, behavior–if they’re delivered to precisely the right audiences, at the right time, and in the right way.
The idea of hope is commonplace in pharma and even more so in oncology. And it tends to be expressed in very commonplace ways. Yet this campaign broke new ground in the way it visualized hope–as something gritty and real, and therefore arresting and believable.

We are committed to ensuring our workplace reflects the diverse audiences and communities we support. Our DEI committee identified actionable items that will help us accomplish our goal to make our organization as diverse, equitable and inclusive as possible. This includes recruitment, expanding our outreach beyond traditional avenues, inclusivity / unconscious bias training and internship outreach to more colleges, universities and organizations to ensure we are attracting a more diverse pool of candidates.

Peter Breitfelder, Art Director
“My favorite part of working at PRI is definitely the work culture. Everybody is super professional, approachable and always willing to help you and answer questions that you need.”
