It's an interesting world, especially as advertisers figure out where to spend their dollars. I think there are stil reasons to do a big advertising push, espcially one that goes through traditional media, but there is an argument for micro-influencers.
As long as "Taurus remains in Gatorade", who knows where things will land — hopefully it never will stop changing and evolving.

The idea behind this campaign is simple, "Does your car love you back?" But, the idea has so many ways it can be brought to life—from teddy bears to a breakup video series. The campaign builds on the existing brand for Bolt as a smart, sustainable and self-aware company. Their hiring videos get views because they hit on an insight about what it's like to explain your job to your grandparents. It opens the door for additional fun ideas like reflective jewelry.

It's not just a space for brands and celebrities to prove they are who they say they are anymore. Now, individuals can provide detailed documents about themselves to gain checkmarks and official status across multiple social channels. The biggest question is, has it gone too far? Is there too much personal information being shared with social media platforms for proof of identity and in the name of security? How far will people go to become officially-official?
