SESSION 1
Welcome to Doha
The global maritime and logistics sectors are in a state of transition. From old fuels to new, from analogue to digital, from safety as a set of boxes to be ticked to safety as a holistic culture.
We need to think smarter about transport hubs, their connections to the local community, to inland transport, to overseas shipping. Because today’s maritime hubs will be with us for the next decade.
What will the hubs of the future look like? What will maritime users demand, and what will logistics users expect? Who will fund such colossal investment? Who will protect them from digital attack?
Two sectors interact at these transport hubs. Creating efficient, agile centres of connection will be critical to keeping cargo moving by sea and land.
The Qatar Maritime and Logistics Summit focuses on the challenges these sectors face between 2020 and 2030. Expert speakers bring their insight to the key issues of global trends, financing, digital security, safety and security.
Join us in Doha to hear more.
