"Having a wish granted continuously inspires me to give back and be the change I wish to see in the world."

Seventeen years after his life-changing trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, Tyler’s wish still impacts his life today. “My wish gave me reasons to dream and built me up as a person. It inspired me to keeping pushing forward during a time when I really needed something positive to hold onto.” Tyler and his wife Justus continue to support their local chapter as volunteers and donors.

“Make-A-Wish brought light, hope and huge smiles back into our world.”

"Stage IV cancer," some of the scariest words a family can hear. In 1995, Betsy and her family faced an aggressive cancer for their, then, 6-year-old son. They faced difficult years of treatment, but their lives transformed in 1997 when Steven’s wish came true. The wish brought them a hope that they had been missing for years. Today, Steven (pictured here with his parents) is a happy and healthy 32-year-old, and his family can still trace the impact of his wish on their lives.

A Few Ways to Stay Involved
