A BRIEF HISTORY
“Oregon? Oh!” His parents were surprised for the move. But off Pete went. Once there, Pete became a community organizer for the region, helping the working class. The area was home to a lot of fishermen and their families, so Pete helped organize the unions to gain benefits and wage increases. Doing so, actually resulted in a sharp increase in anchovy production.
For his Masters, Pete moved to Chicago. He missed the city flavor that New York gave him, but wasn’t ready to move home just yet. He came to love the Windy City. (Make no mistake, he loves New York and choosing between there and Chicago is something he’s still struggling with today.)
He’s served alongside domestic and
foreign dignitaries, the rich and the poor, and on Friday nights, he’s served alongside
a cold drink.
Pete Zah grew up in a small hut located on the outskirts of New York City. His Papa, John, was a doughy, small-business owner with a great sense of humor. His mother, Cici, was a woman with a heart of gold, and a little cheesy (as all moms are). Little Pete just happened to be the sauce that kept them all together.
Pete was raised in a somewhat traditional Italian-American household. He was one of 8 other children, so he had to fight for a seat at the table. (Something he’s still doing today for those who don’t have a voice). As a gifted student, he was offered a full scholarship to go to college in the Pacific Northwest.

Hungry for change? Peter Zah's your candidate. Son of Italian-American parents, he has served as Dinner, Cold Breakfast and as a Drunk Snack. He's there when you burned dinner. Pete Zah is always just a phone call away. A crowd favorite and all around people pleaser.
But the first thing his friends and family will tell you is that he’s never forgotten where he came from or who he’s been fighting for throughout his life. And he's always fighting to make sure everyone gets a fair share of the pie.
