Developed in 2013, ISU focuses on cyber-crime, spying, security failures, Internet scams, and social networking dangers that families and individuals face every day.
In 2017, Terry was awarded the 2017 Cybersecurity Educator of the year award; he followed that by being named to IFSEC Global's Top 20 Most Influential People in Cybersecurity for 2018, 2019 and 2020, and then, in the same year, named to the CISO Platform Global TOP 100 List.

Cathy litigates complex commercial and regulatory cases and defends class actions with a regulatory component. She is currently defending clients in multiple privacy, antitrust, insurance, product liability, misleading advertising, telecommunications and consumer-protection class actions. Cathy also acts as breach counsel for clients experiencing a data breach or cybersecurity incident.
Cathy has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in 18 appeals, including arguing leading commercial, constitutional, privacy and freedom of information appeals. She is a former law clerk to the late Chief Justice of Canada, the Right Honourable Antonio Lamer.
Cathy’s national litigation practice has involved arguing before the trial courts of every province, in addition to appellate courts across Canada and a wide range of administrative and arbitration tribunals. She has represented the House of Commons before Commissions of Inquiry and has been counsel to and given evidence to provincial and federal legislative committees.
Cathy is the co-Practice Group Leader of the Toronto Litigation group and also leads Blakes National Cybersecurity Working Group. She served on the Firm’s Executive Committee from 2015 to 2020.

Mandy D’Autremont is Vice-President of Marketing Partnerships at the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB). With over a decade of experience at CFIB, Mandy has held a range of key roles on the Legislative, Research, and Marketing teams. As Vice-President of Marketing Partnerships, she leverages her expertise to cultivate strategic relationships with for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations, fostering collaboration on initiatives to benefit small businesses across Canada.
Mandy's portfolio includes oversight of CFIB’s popular shop local campaigns, such as Small Business Saturday and #SmallBusinessEveryDay, as well as sponsored webinars, and initiatives like Workplace Wellness, Succession Start, and the new CFIB Cybersecurity Academy. She also spearheaded several thought leadership projects on emerging technologies like 5G and digital adoption in small businesses. Mandy firmly believes in the power of partnerships to achieve significant outcomes for small businesses. Drawing on her extensive background in advocacy and market research, she has played a pivotal role in shaping CFIB's work to support small businesses.
Before joining CFIB, Mandy worked as a Senior Research Manager at Angus Reid Strategies, the Public Affairs division of Vision Critical. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina. Prof. Ali Dehghantanha is an academic-entrepreneur in cybersecurity and cyber threat intelligence. In 2020, he was named as the first and the only Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence in Ontario-Canada, which illustrates his potential as a world leader in this field and his exceptional talent.
On an international scale, he secured a European Union Marie-Curie International Incoming Fellowship, which is among the most competitive research awards in the EU. He has contributed immensely to several fields in cybersecurity including malware analysis, Internet of Things (IoT) security and digital forensics.
He is among few academics contributing to fundamental research in cyber threat intelligence, with most research taking place in industry settings. He is currently the director of Cyber Science Lab and the director of Master of Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence program at the University of Guelph.

Randy is a veteran having served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 26+ years.
He spent most of his career in maritime warfare roles that included filling various security roles and as information operations planning officer. Later in his career, he transferred to Training Development where he also completed his Master of Education in IT. He retired from the RCN to a second career at the Communication Security Establishment / Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, where he led development of IT security training for the Federal Government, served as the Strategic Advisor for Cyber Security Training and Education and completed his PhD in Education. On retiring from the public service, he joined the non-profit sector working as the Director of Cybersecurity Standards and subsequently as the Vice President Future Workforce Development for Technation. For the past several years, he has been the Senior Cybersecurity Advisor at the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst where he focuses on designing and facilitating cyber security training & education for a variety of academic and professional audiences. He is also a part-time professor at the Toronto Metropolitan university teaching cybersecurity. He continues to teach, research, write and consult on cybersecurity, workforce development, and learning issues.
