Tradepoint Atlantic
June 2022
Global logistics company, Tradepoint Atlantic, developed a new building on its 3,300-acre site to better support staff well-being and productivity. Tradepoint sought a modern workplace incorporating more natural light and a balance of private and collaborative areas as part of this relocation. Price Modern was brought in early to ensure the entire project team worked in tandem to meet the goals and requirements for the new space. For Tradepoint’s new office space, our team specified fixed-height workstations, private offices, conference rooms, a large training room, an open café, and casual lounge areas. Our furniture and Flooring team collaborated closely to streamline the finish selection process and ensure all items coordinated prior to order placement. We were able to help Tradepoint visualize the space through renderings where all furniture and flooring selections were incorporated for a complete overview of the final result. Price Modern is pleased to provide Tradepoint with an up-to-date space for their staff to continue serving clients worldwide.

Marriott International sought to relocate its headquarters to the bustling downtown of Bethesda, MD. With a goal of creating a flexible, dynamic environment for its associates, Marriott enlisted a team of experts to design, construct, and furnish the new global headquarters including Gensler, rand*, Price Modern, and Haworth. From the start, it was clear that this ground-up project would be a one-of-a-kind space that would make a statement within the community. Designed for LEED Gold certification and a recipient of a 3-star Fitwel® certification, Marriott desired a healthy and welcoming environment for associates and visitors alike. Working closely with all project partners, our team helped specify, procure, and install solutions for workstations, private offices, flexible workstations, conference rooms, multi-purpose rooms, a design library, wellness rooms, filing and storage, multiple cafés, outdoor areas, and various accessories such as area rugs.

Tip: How to save time when creating multiple profile popups. Create one popup that has the image, text format, animations, and interactions you want each personal profile popup to have. Copy and paste the popup and change the names of the pasted popup folders in the layers panel. Next, edit the text and replace the images in each popup folder. Once completed, each popup will have unique content but a consistent format. This is more efficient than making each popup from scratch.

This is Price Modern’s largest single volume project. A dedicated team was formed for design, specification, as well as inside and on-site project management. Delta provided dedicated delivery and installation crews. This tremendous effort was acknowledged by NGA as a Star Partner Award was given to the Price Modern Team as they were recognized for their professionalism, timeliness, and schedule balancing in the most challenging of situations.
