Our Local Community
Savills Knightsbridge is delighted to support the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation, a charity that identifies and supports projects which improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community. This year, Savills employees across London took part in a "sleeping rough" overnight to raise awareness for homelessness in London. We are also looking forward to continuing our support of the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals annual carol concert later this year. Savills Knightsbridge is involved in many local engagements. Last year, we sponsored the Imperial College School of Medicine Final Year Dinner, and sponsored The Knightsbridge Association, an annual publication about the Knightsbridge Area. One of our team members recently participated in LandAids 'Sleeping Rough' sponsorship. We have also previously acted as sponsor for St Luke's Carol Concert, the proceeds of which go towards The Royal Brompton Hospital. We have also monitored Savills stalls at the Chelsea Flower Show.

Savills Amersham are proud to support a number of local schools and sports clubs each year to help them run and maintain their continued growth and important place in the local community. In 2022, we continued our long running kit sponsorship of Dr Challoners football team, worn at all local school and county matches further afield. We were also delighted to be asked to retain our position as the lead sponsors of Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club “Mini’s” tournament for boys and girls aged 5-11. Our mini rugby balls were again the talk of the tournament, with over 350 distributed to players and siblings from several clubs spanning a number of counties.

Savills Windsor is proud to take part in a number of local community events raising much needed funds and awareness of various charities, schools and sports clubs. 2022 saw the team volunteering with the Thames Hospice and The Lions Club, a charity that are dedicated to making our community a better place. The local schools once again embraced our sunflower competition, and we continued our long term sponsorship of Bray & Maidenhead Cricket Club as well as Windsor Rugby Club. 2023 will see us once again sponsoring the Prostate Cancer Awareness Event at the Windsor Racecourse.

Savills Rickmansworth is proud to support and take part in a number of local charity events each year to raise money and awareness for various causes. 2022 saw the team participate in a charity football tournament in aid of BIBIC, a charity that helps people who have suffered from brain injuries, the Rickmansworth Pancake Race for Mencap, a charity that supports those with learning disabilities, and some of the team volunteered at NewHope, a shelter providing food, housing and support for the homeless and vulnerably housed individuals.

The team frequently engage with our wider office and Savills network as well as the local community we work in. We raise funds for local homelessness prevention charity – Launchpad and recently held an office bake-off to raise funds and awareness. Keeping abreast of taxation for our clients; James Harrison attended a tax seminar in the Savills branded Renault Twizy. Our team are pleased to support The Watermill Theatre and have attended the annual Broadening Your Horizons event held at Bradfield College, where local state and private school pupils are invited to hear about different careers and pathways into property from our Savills employees. During the summer, our team were pleased to support the Thames Valley Park regatta, where commercial occupiers competed in various races on the River Thames.

Savills Northwood are proud to support local charities and raise money and awareness for various causes. The team have previously run sunflower growing competitions at a local primary school and have participated in a charity golf day in aid of Peace Hospice Care, a local charity providing care for adults diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses. The team are also looking forward to volunteering with The Dogs' Trust in early 2023.

Savills Marlow is proud to support and take part in a number of local charity events each year to raise money and awareness for various causes. Marlow happily sponsors the local Spinfield Primary school at their various Summer and Winter fayres, as well as help fun the football kits for Holy Trinity School in Cookham. The team were thrilled to take part in Cookham’s Gravity Grand Prix in 2024, a wonderful family day out in aid of local charities. The event was a roaring success, not only providing a joyful day out for local families but in all lifting the donations raised from the event to over £250,000; for the benefit of Thames Valley Air Ambulance and other local good causes.

We have also sponsored three events at Wood End School raising funds to support the ongoing education of the children. Savills Harpenden have also supported the Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary which does vital work for ill or injured hedgehogs.

Savills Beaconsfield is proud to support and sponsor a number of local events throughout the year. Some examples of these include providing signage for the Penn and Tylers Green Village Show, sponsoring the Diamond Ball at The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, and NSPCC Christmas Carols at Hedsor House in Beaconsfield. Last year members of the Residential Sales and Lettings teams were on hand to help out at the Horse Trust based in Princes Risborough in Buckinghamshire and in January 2024 both the Residential Sales and Lettings teams spent the day helping out at the Thames Valley Adventure playground in Taplow, Buckinghamshire in their post-Christmas tidy up ahead of reopening.
