DISCOVER
Provides employees with term insurance at a level premium while the face amount of the life insurance declines over time. Although employees pay for the benefit, VRRT enables employees to obtain a needed benefit at retirement with the convenience of workplace enrollment.
Voluntary Retiree Reducing Term Insurance (VRRT)
A permanent life insurance offering that also provides cash accumulation opportunities through a Fixed Account with a minimum guaranteed interest rate and a wide range of variable investment options. With GVUL, employers can “carve out” coverage for executives from their group term life insurance plan and offer a program that meets the needs of both the company and the executive.
Group Variable Universal Life (GVUL)
A voluntary life insurance offering that provides long-term life insurance coverage with a cash accumulation element. Employees can make post-tax contributions that earn interest at a minimum guaranteed interest rate on a tax-deferred basis to supplement retirement income.
Group Universal Life (GUL)
Helps employers meet the challenge of managing post-retirement life insurance coverage through a cost-effective approach without impacting retirees or their benefits. Through a single premium payment to Prudential, employers can remove part or all of their retiree life liability while guaranteeing they will never have to contribute any additional premium to insure that distinct group of retirees.
Retiree Life Buyouts (RBOs)
These options control retiree life liabilities and costs. We can consult with
you on plan design changes, offer products designed to offset or remove liabilities, or position a suite of voluntary retiree products that do not
accumulate a future liability.
Retiree Life Solutions
Helps you streamline and manage employees ADA process. From initial request through final resolution, ADAdvocate provides expertise to help identify, implement, and track ADA accommodations.
Accommodation Support Services
ADAdvocate®

Behavioral health claim management tool
Drives the right data-driven discussion for your organization, focused on opportunities and action.
Expanded Health and Productivity Analytics and Consulting Team
Two-way texting to claimants and user-friendly web portal enhancements give you and your employees 24/7 access. This on top of a single platform for all absence and disability events, and automated claims process, strong online capabilities, real-time online reporting and tracking, and value-added analytical reporting.
Advanced technology
Replaces a portion of an employee’s income when they are unable to work for an extended period of time due to an injury or illness. Because every claim is unique, claim managers regularly assess work capacity and engage in-house clinical, vocational, and behavioral health resources to help address medical and non-medical barriers to recovery and a return to work and/or a return to life.
Long Term Disability
Provides a source of income for employees who temporarily cannot work due to an injury or illness. With a focus on returning them to work, claim managers make quick and accurate decisions that allow employees to focus on recovery instead of paperwork.
Short Term Disability
An increasing number of states have mandated disability/medical and paid family leave benefit plans. The laws of each jurisdiction vary and therefore employee eligibility, benefit levels, contribution amounts, and administrative compliance responsibilities vary by jurisdiction. For states that allow a private plan option, we can partner with you to develop those private plans and ensure your company is compliant.
State Paid Leave
Prudential’s federal, state, and company leave¹ solutions can help organizations manage all their leave programs, reducing their administrative burden of tracking these complex and ever-evolving programs.

The products issued by The Prudential Insurance Company of America may not be available in all states.
These policies provide disability income and accident insurance only. They do NOT provide basic hospital, basic medical, or major medical insurance as defined by the New York State Department of Financial Services.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - THIS POLICY DOES NOT PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR SICKNESS.
North Carolina Residents: THIS IS NOT A MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT PLAN. If you are eligible for Medicare, review the Guide to Health Insurance for People with Medicare, which is available from the company.
This coverage is not health insurance coverage (often referred to as “Major Medical Coverage”).
This type of plan is NOT considered “minimum essential coverage” under the Affordable Care Act and therefore does NOT satisfy the individual mandate that you have health insurance coverage.
The Prutection Score is a measure of how prepared a group of employees is for the risks of (1) premature death, (2) loss of income due to an illness or injury, (3) out-of-pocket expenses related to an illness or injury, and (4) outliving assets. For each of these risks, the Prutection Score is the ratio of Funds Available to Funds Needed, which is estimated using employee demographic information, Prudential survey data, and a variety of credible external industry and government sources. While the first three risks take into account actual coverage amounts employees have to help protect them against those risks (e.g., Life, Disability, CI, and Accident Insurance), the Outliving Assets Risk does not (e.g., no actual employee retirement assets and deferral rates). The Outliving Assets risk does not evaluate the sufficiency of employer’s or employee’s retirement plans and does not constitute retirement advice. The Prutection Score is not intended to advise you or any of your employees what their specific financial needs might be or the exact amount of coverage any one individual might need now or in the future. The resulting scores are to be used for an entire group of employees or large demographics within a group. Results are not to be used at an individual level. Individuals should contact a financial professional regarding their personal situation. Prudential is not responsible for uses made of this information inconsistent with the description provided here.
Prutection Score is a service mark of The Prudential Insurance Company of America.
