The truth
Disconnection dates for Special Services are non-negotiable. There will be large volumes to migrate and the earlier you migrate, the lower the risk of any migration issues, hence we highly encourage all our customers to start their migration journey early. We want our customers to avoid any last-minute rush to connect.
Telstra doesn't have a choice as we are legally required to disconnect copper services, this includes voice services (ISDN, CustomNet) and data services (Frame Relay, Ethernet-Lite, Megalink, DDS Fastway). Some of the technologies are over 25 years old, older than dial-up modem technology, which has now been surpassed by Broadband technology
for over 10 years.

at risk by suggesting they should delay migration. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to migrate early.
