As 2020 comes to a close, it’s important for you to know changes to your Club membership program in response to COVID-19. Throughout this journey, we’ve been listening to your feedback to make your vacation experience with Hilton Grand Vacations more rewarding than ever. Here’s what to look out for as you plan your next vacation and a look at what’s to come in 2021 and beyond, including changes to your Club Dues and the opening date for one of our much-anticipated new properties.
You can now plan future vacations knowing that any remaining 2020 ClubPoints will be saved into 2021 at no cost to you. Saved 2020 Points will be reflected on your account by January 2, 2021. This change gives you more flexibility to vacation with HGV when the time is right for you and your family. However, if you are ready to make a reservation now and need to save your 2020 Points, simply go online and save them, also at no cost.
If you already paid to save your 2020 Points, you will receive a refund of the amount paid. Refunds will be reflected on your Club account by December 11, 2020. For those who had previously Saved Points, rest assured that Points saved into 2020 have also been extended through 2021.
As always, you’ll get the best value for your Points by staying at an HGV property. Booking your Home Week is always free as part of your membership. If you wish to travel at a later time or to another destination — no worries! Booking via the Club website or the HGV mobile app will deliver a savings in fees compared to calling the Club Contact Center. Start planning your 2021 vacation today so you can take advantage of currently available inventory.

Hot Tip: Your account must be in good standing to use your ClubPoints or Bonus Points. Don’t forget to pay your 2021 assessment bill by the deadline of January 1, 2021, to keep your Club membership current. Visit the Ownership page to get started.
For as long as travel is interrupted, Bonus Points used for a canceled reservation that have since expired will be returned and given a 60-day extension. We also extended Bonus Points that expired in April, May, June, July and August 2020 through June 30, July 31, August 31, September 30 and October 31, respectively. Any Bonus Points that are set to expire from November 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 will be extended to February 28, 2021, to allow Members the opportunity to use them next year. We will apply the extension — no action is needed on your part.
Extensions of Expiring Bonus Points
Next year’s Club Dues are in — $186 for U.S. domestic Club Members and $219 for international Club Members. These dues will be included in the 2021 assessment statement from your association. Once your association’s board of directors finalizes your Home Resort’s 2021 maintenance fees and your statement is issued, you can visit the Ownership page to download your 2021 assessment bill. To get a general idea on when your statement might be available, visit the Club website’s Club News page and access this year’s board meeting schedule.
International Owners who own at a U.S.-based property and wish to pay using their local currency can take advantage of Flywire, a new payment option that provides savings on bank fees and exchange rates. To use Flywire, visit the Ownership page on the Club website and select View Maintenance Fees. Doing so will allow you to pay each contract individually. Selecting Pay All Fees will not provide a local currency payment option.

We also implemented a temporary 50% reduction in our Hilton Honors Points conversion ratios. This includes 2020 ClubPoints used toward a Hilton hotel reservation, and 2020 and 2021 ClubPoints converted to Hilton Honors Points. Starting on January 1, 2021, we will be reinstating the full conversion ratio. We thank you for your understanding during this time.

We will continue to reach out to Club Members and guests, letting you know about any major travel restrictions and government mandates, so you are well prepared before you leave on your vacation. As always, continue to visit HGV’s Travel Updates page for the most current list of properties that are open and any government mandates you need to be aware of before your stay. For destinations that require testing prior to arrival at an HGV property, such as Hawaii and Barbados, we are creating detailed information pages that can be accessed from the Travel Updates page.
Keeping You Informed
We understand that you may feel uncertainty about booking future travel during these difficult times. To allow for travel flexibility and peace of mind, we continue to waive our reservation cancellation policy through the end of the year. This means you can cancel any time prior to check-in.
