Looking Back at Science of Skin
Since 2020, AbbVie’s Science of Skin has united physicians, patients and advocates from diverse backgrounds to share first-hand experiences and candid discussions to explore ways the dermatology community can best support patients and help elevate the standards of care. Past events have explored the science behind immune-mediated skin diseases and the barriers that exist for skin of color patients receiving timely diagnosis and culturally competent care. The 2023 Science of Skin roundtable explored the psychosocial impact of chronic skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa.
