Acuity Intelligent Spaces
In AIS, we're helping customers through our edge with cloud solutions — advancing software, sensors, controls, speakers and amplifiers across Atrius, Distech and QSC. As we deepen relationships with our customers — from information technology teams to facilities management professionals — I’m excited to keep growing our technology stack.
DC2DC Architecture: Power Efficiency for Sustainable Classroom Applications – Our DC2DC Architecture distributes DC power to a space’s entire LED lighting system through a single-point conversion DCHUB, eliminating the need and cost to convert AC to DC power at each luminaire’s LED driver. The DC2DC Architecture utilizes Class 2 low voltage DC wiring, eliminating the need for power packs, junction boxes and conduit to luminaires, providing reductions of both materials and related installation hours (requirements may vary according to local code).
Elevating Service Levels with Design Select – A primary example of actioning our ABL strategy while also delivering products and services that aim to save energy and reduce carbon was the development and launch of our Design Select™ program. By combining high product vitality and improved service levels, Design Select allows us to better serve lighting specifiers, distributors, and electrical contractors with highly configured products for projects on tight deadlines.

President, Acuity Intelligent Spaces
At Acuity Intelligent Spaces, we have unique and disruptive technologies that are driving productivity for people experiencing spaces and for people who are providing those spaces. Atrius and Distech control the management of the space, and QSC manages the experiences in that space. Over time we will use the data that they generate to enhance productivity outcomes through data interoperability.
