The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame is an interactive, entertaining and multi-layered attraction that celebrates the contributions of Black musical artists, songwriters, and producers of various genres of music.
These artists were born, lived, or recorded major hit records in Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio. Their profound impact on the music industry, domestically and internationally, is celebrated interactively at this site. Visitors can walk through the half-acre site that features stars embedded in the pavement to highlight artists and multiple audio/visual exhibits that invite engagement and participation.
A light show begins at twilight, turning the Walk into a symphony of colors with interactive experiences. It is all set to a soulful soundtrack.
The light show features towering lighting configurations, allowing maximum flexibility and creativity with full spectrum, color-changing LED fixtures. Configurations include Hydrel's SAF7 and SAF14 floodlights; more details are below.
The 40,000 SF interactive Black Music Walk of Fame showcases high-quality granite, stainless steel fixtures, top-of-the-line electronic components, theatrical lighting and carefully curated landscaping design for an engaging experience.
The Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame is just outside The Andrew J Brady Music Center on the Cincinnati, Ohio Riverfront. The attraction is fully accessible to the public.
