Discover UV Technology
Proper pathogen¹ control and lighting in schools is as essential as teachers and textbooks. Our UV technology is able to treat both the air and surfaces, like desks. Most UV solutions are available in the luminaires you already know and love like the BLT from Lithonia Lighting or the Gotham EVO™. When provided with a well-lit and treated space students, teachers and school staff can thrive in their environments because they are focusing on learning, not pathogens in the space.

Sustainability with networked lighting controls

Design a better world with networked lighting controls
Climate change has become a mainstream issue worldwide that affects humanity today and will increasingly affect our collective futures. When looking at the various causes of climate change, it is clear that our response must include a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the U.S. electricity generation in 2020 resulted in 1.55 billion metric tons of CO2 with lighting making up about 35% of electricity used in U.S. commercial buildings. Moving to LED lighting has already had a tremendous impact in decreasing energy consumption but specifying networked lighting controls is the next small step that can have a great impact in reducing emissions.
