Key highlights from the 2024 report
ADL solidified its SBTi alignment, targeting a 55% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 61.1% reduction in Scope 3 emissions per employee by 2033. Local offices introduced renewable energy and waste-reduction policies, while Italy became a certified Benefit Corporation.
The report reaffirms ADL’s commitment to transparent reporting in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, covering the firm’s global activities from January 1 to December 31, 2024.
In a year marked by accelerating global challenges, ADL advanced its ESG agenda with purpose and precision, embedding sustainability deeper into its strategy, operations, and client work. The report outlines tangible steps taken to move from awareness to measurable action, including alignment with Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments, expanded diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, and strengthened governance frameworks.

The firm launched its Women’s Business Network, expanded mental health and wellbeing programs, and achieved Great Place To Work® certifications in the US and Italy.
The firm reinforced ethical governance through an ESG Committee reporting to the Board, strengthened supplier and data protection policies, and maintained ISO 27001 certification across all jurisdictions.
ADL piloted a Volunteering Day initiative across markets and deepened partnerships with WaterAid, the Good Food Institute (GFI), and NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business.
