Buffered UITs
Unit Investment Trusts (UITs) are sold only by prospectus. You should consider the trust’s investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses carefully before investing. Contact your financial professional or visit Advisors Asset Management, Inc. online at www.aamlive.com/uit to obtain a prospectus which contains this and other information about the trust. Read it carefully before you invest.
The Sponsor may elect to postpone the trust if certain adverse market conditions occur that affect volatility and pricing of the FLEX Options.
The trusts seek to achieve specified outcomes but there is no guarantee that the outcomes will be achieved. You may lose some or all of your money by investing in a trust.
*The Gross Historical Cap Range, Net Historical Cap Range (Standard Accounts) and Net Historical Cap Range (Fee Accounts) are shown for the date period shown above and are not intended to be predictive. The historical cap ranges reflect the highest and lowest caps available using the portfolio strategy of purchasing and writing put and call options on the underlying ETF during market conditions from the dates in the referenced range. The actual cap for the portfolio will be established on the initial date of deposit and is dependent upon current market conditions at that time. The Gross Historical Cap Range is gross of any sales charges or organization costs. The Net Historical Cap Range (Standard Accounts) and Net Historical Cap Range (Fee Accounts) are net of any sales charges or organization costs applicable to these account categories. Volatility and other market conditions may cause the cap set by a strategy to be higher or lower than the stated cap range. Both the cap and buffer for a trust are fixed levels that are calculated in relation to the price of the underlying ETF as of the time the FLEX Options are executed on the trust’s initial date of deposit. Any change in the market value of the trust’s assets between the time the FLEX Options are executed and the evaluation time on the initial date of deposit will result in unitholders experiencing a cap or a buffer different from what is described.
#The Gross Capped Return, Net Capped Return (Standard Accounts) and Net Capped Return (Fee Accounts) are shown as of each trust’s inception and represent the maximum return that each trust seeks to provide unitholders purchasing units at a price equal to their initial net asset value ($10 per unit) and holding them until such trust’s mandatory termination date. Gross Capped Return is before applicable sales fees and organization costs, Net Capped Return (Standard Accounts) is after sales fees and organization costs for units purchased through a traditional brokerage account and Net Capped Return (Fee Accounts) is after sales fees and organization costs for units purchased through a “wrap fee” account”.
