INTRODUCING
digitally enhanced dasherBOARDS
This season, the NHL will be implementing the Digitally Enhanced Dasherboard (“DED”) program during all NHL television broadcasts. DED is the overlay of dynamic graphics over camera-visible dasherboards during the game broadcast.
The result is a less cluttered, seamless viewing experience for fans.
After 40+ years of viewing static dasherboards as the gold standard in broadcast signage, the DED program represents the future and will elevate brand exposure to new levels in a multitude of ways:
X
Ability to update creative as often as needed based on brand campaign and initiatives.
X
CREATIVE FLEXIBITY
CREATIVE FLEXIBILITY
DYNAMIC MESSAGING
With larger, dedicated zone placements and multiple rotations, there will be more opportunity to integrate brand messaging, product images, call-to-action, hashtags, etc.
DYNAMIC MESSAGING
X
SHARE OF VOICE
Partners will receive a larger share of voice on screen as there will be fewer brands displayed at a time.

DEDs will be applied to the main camera view ONLY. Secondary camera angles and replays will not be affected and will continue to display in-arena dasherboards.
To learn more about Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards, please reach out to your LA Kings Representative.
Kings Partners will continue to receive physical static and LED rotational dasherboards in-arena with added DED inventory on the broadcast.

ANNIVERSARY
10 -YEAR
Bob Miller's call
june 11, 2012
Ten years after Dustin Brown was the first LA Kings player to lift the Stanley Cup over his head, the 2012 Stanley Cup Champions returned to Southern California, celebrating one of the greatest moments in Los Angeles sports history.
A special reunion was organized by the players and the organization as a whole. A total of 22 players – including active stars Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Quick and Drew Doughty – reunited. Also featured at the summer event were key club executives and the entire coaching staff who helped the Kings secure their first Cup in 45 years.
Memories were shared and the laughs were in abundance over the three days which was highlighted by team dinners, golf, pool time, and a lot of relaxing at the venue situated along the ocean.
A 6-1 victory in Game 6 over the New Jersey Devils enabled the Kings to become the first No. 8 seed to ever win the most historic trophy in all of sports. Overall the team went an incredible 16-4 in the 2012 postseason, topping the Devils, Coyotes, Blues and Canucks in dominating fashion.
The Kings went 10-1 on the road yet won on home ice before a joyous STAPLES Center crowd. For these hockey heroes, the recent road back to Los Angeles led to an incredible event fit for a King.
The Kings can wear their crown. The Los Angeles Kings have won the Stanley Cup!
