Rachel Morgan
Workplace Ideation Designer | Alfred Williams & Company My design esthetic is simple, clean and to the point. After spending the past six years running a business, I know one thing for certain and that is convenience is key. The time a person wastes fumbling through a disorganized website that lacks intuitive usability is bad marketing and bad business. Good design communicates a message, calling the consumer to action with minimal effort. People do not want to read; clutter distracts the eye, overwhelms the senses and causes-not all-but most to lose interest. Good marketing "presses the easy button" and all but makes the consumer's decision. Good business is money made. I am of the opinion that all these concepts are fundamentally related.

Flexible furnishings and adaptable technology for a variety of teams
Designing Training Rooms with multi-functionality in mind can shift a space from being seldomly utilized to becoming frequently populated. Mobile & modular furnishings and architecture enable a myriad of configurations for supporting different activities & team interaction. A tiered approach to seating can also create an efficient use of space, allowing maximum visibility & ensuring that all participants feel equally engaged. Integration of technology in relation to flexible configurations allows users to re-arrange the space as needed without sacrificing performance. Incorporating analog communication tools like mobile whiteboards or glass boards with AV technology ensures all voices are seen and heard.

Expanding the workplace beyond the interior, one can provide team members with ample space to hit refresh. The Terrace can take form as an extension of the café, a scenic option for an all-hands meeting, or simply a place to lounge & socialize.
