AEROSPACE

Palantir partnered with a major airplane manufacturer to create Skywise, an industry platform that provides airlines with in-flight, engineering, and operational data to address aircraft operations challenges.
More than 130 airlines use Skywise across more than 10,000 aircraft to run daily engineering and maintenance operations. They have seen a 10% reduction in flight delays due to preventative maintenance improvements and have proactively uncovered more than 40 safety events for further investigation. One flagship U.S. carrier is now saving $12M per year in fuel costs.
ENERGY
A major energy company uses Palantir to track the Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions across every part of its business.
Previously, the company’s emissions metrics were siloed and only collected annually. Now they are refreshed automatically as the business changes and derived from precise operational data. This helps the company meet future reporting requirements and track progress towards its aggressive net zero goals.
As a result, leadership can systematically assess the impact of new policies and investments and utilize the outcomes to inform future decisions.

Alongside Palantir, we developed the Liquidity Control Tower, an application that gives executives real-time data to better inform decision making.
The Liquidity Control Tower allows CFOs and CEOs to model changes in financial health and liquidity based on select internal and external factors. It displays a side-by-side, real-time view of both profit & loss and cashflow by rapidly aggregating data from multiple sources.
It also enables executives to push potential decisions and actions back into the source data systems. This allows them to quickly analyze a situation and understand the impact of various paths forward across changing market conditions.
Executives who are steering a post-pandemic business through such challenging times want the highest levels of confidence in the course they set. In using the Liquidity Control Tower, they can drive their organization forward with increased granularity, accuracy, and certainty.
MEDIA
A large broadcast company recently looked to maximize returns for its advertisers and capture new value through automated campaign optimization. The organization’s existing technology could not properly synthesize the multitude of data sources needed to optimize thousands of campaigns and advertiser objectives.
Through Palantir Foundry, the company built a digital twin of its ad sales business, virtualizing the full process to provide visibility into inventory, reach, and demand. The digital twin allowed the company to simulate and test different options to determine the best path forward.
A campaign optimization engine generated data-driven recommendations for campaigns for account executives to implement based on user-developed models. This way, the account executives running the campaigns could proactively surface data-driven proposals for clients, building trust and boosting ROI.
These tools allowed the company to optimize 20,000 campaign plans per minute and close $80M worth of at-risk deals.
PRIVATE EQUITY
We partner with private equity firms across the deal lifecycle to improve the performance of portfolio companies. With Palantir Foundry, we can develop customized, real-time digital performance management capabilities tied to a PE firm’s investment philosophy to drive focused value campaigns across the portfolio.
This centralized portfolio management approach syncs disparate third-party software platforms into a single source of truth with extreme granularity and instant data visualizations. It also provides predictive analytics capabilities for scenario modeling and forecasting.
This adds value in the due diligence and acquisition stages of an investment through deal model and financial projections, along with top-down and bottom-up analysis to reduce underwriting risk. During portfolio management, our Foundry partnership helps clients with sustainability analysis and maturity models, and aids the set up and measurement of financial, operational, and organizational milestones.
RETAIL
Retailers need to embrace agility across the organization to better sense and respond to changing consumer priorities and industry trends. To preempt and prepare for change, retailers need real-time and cross-functional insights that come from internal and external data sources.
Our partnership with Palantir makes these capabilities available to our clients. Palantir’s AI-enabled decision support can be built upon AlixPartners’ Retail Workbench to help our retail clients unlock true performance.
For example, it can create a unified view of the omnichannel customer journey—from online browsing to app purchase to store return—and measure the true impact of specific promotions and markdowns at the SKU level. It can also utilize AI and data science to more precisely forecast demand to guide inventory and staffing decisions or recommend the next best action at the individual customer level to drive trips or expand basket sizes.
SUPPLY CHAIN
Supply chain resiliency is more important than ever. Disruptions from the pandemic, geopolitics, and economic conditions have made it increasingly challenging to accurately predict supply and demand.
Companies need real-time supply chain insights to better manage disruptions, risks, and forecasts. By employing Foundry alongside AlixPartners’ expertise, we can act as the central nervous system of a supply chain transformation.
We do this by managing all supply chain activities—forecast, demand, inventory management, variation planning, and more—through a real-time, centralized control tower. Foundry’s decision support enables us to identify and act on bottlenecks, points of failure, and gaps in demand, which streamlines operations.
Foundry can also build out a digital twin of a supply chain, enabling companies to seamlessly unify varied demand signals and run complex simulations to understand trade-offs between demand and production.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS
As fiber companies attempt to orchestrate large-scale fiber deployments, they need to reevaluate their blueprint. Their current strategy is not efficient and does not effectively facilitate an end-to-end rollout.
We believe an execution and value tracker solution is best suited to fix this broken process. Our solution is a deployment tool powered by Palantir Foundry that brings together several functions into a single source, integrating massive data flows and interpreting the information via AI.
This provides telcos with one source of facts based on input across various devices and data sources, enabling them to develop proof of concept around key rollout and transformation actions within weeks. They can then shift to a production environment and implementation within days.
Utilizing our solution can alleviate a lot of the guesswork from fiber deployment and expedite the path towards monetization.
Tip: How to save time when creating multiple profile popups.
Create one popup that has the image, text format, animations, and interactions you want each personal profile popup to have. Copy and paste the popup and change the names of the pasted popup folders in the layers panel. Next, edit the text and replace the images in each popup folder. Once completed, each popup will have unique content but a consistent format. This is more efficient than making each popup from scratch.
Hover interactions allow you to reveal or hide folders, objects, or groups when the user hovers their mouse over your specified trigger.
In this template, when the user hovers over an image an opaque shape appears over the image. This hover interaction communicates that an additional interaction will be triggered when the user clicks on the image.
A team profile section can provide insightful information about individuals and their roles within a team or company.

To add a hover interaction, draw a hotspot over the area you want the user to hover. Select the hotspot and navigate to the Interaction tab in the Inspector Panel. Select “hover” as your trigger and specify the action, which can be: show, hide, show and stay visible, or hide and stay hidden. Finally, choose the folder, object, or group you want to reveal or hide.
