At Allen Matkins, we provide interactive, educational seminars covering various substantive legal topics and professional skills taught by Allen Matkins attorneys and highly regarded external faculty. We train our attorneys from the day they begin at the firm – helping new associates start their legal careers and assisting more senior lawyers in furthering theirs. FundAMentals – This multi-day program introduces our first-year associates to the firm and provides insight into the firm’s vision, strategic direction, department-specific goals, and structures.

Newly promoted and lateral partners are supported to ensure a smooth transition and encouraged to become industry leaders.

Taught by Allen Matkins attorneys, our academy provides in-depth learning on all real estate practice-specific concepts and processes.

This introductory program provides training on the fundamentals of litigation and assists with integration into the practice.

A multi-faceted, interactive program designed to improve mid-level and senior associates’ skills in developing and managing new and existing client relationships.

PLI

Develop and enhance essential skills in legal writing and persuasive writing.

Summer associates are immersed in multiple training programs and practice overviews delivered by our core practice group leaders and external trainers, which include a writing seminar, presentation skills workshop, as well as substantive legal trainings.

The firm maintains a privileged membership with the Practicing Law Institute which provides on-demand programs that attorneys can watch online, or download to their mobile devices.

We encourage experienced associates and partners to attend outside seminars and use on-demand programs from outstanding providers.

We make it easy to comply with MCLE requirements through internal training classes, on-demand learning, external programs, and online compliance tracking.
