Navitas Midstream Partners Holdings, a portfolio company of funds managed by Warburg Pincus, has sold 100% of its interests in Navitas Midstream Partners, a midstream gas service provider, to an affiliate of Enterprise Products Partners for $3.25 billion in an all-cash deal. The transaction, announced Jan. 10, is expected to close in early 2022. Navitas Midstream was represented by a Kirkland & Ellis team led by corporate partners Adam Larson, Jhett Nelson and Randy Santa Ana. R1 RCM Inc. has agreed to acquire health care revenue recovery provider Cloudmed in an all-stock transaction that values Cloudmed at approximately $4.1 billion. As Law.com’s Amanda Bronstad reported, Andrew Soukup (Covington & Burling) is representing Proctor & Gamble in more than a dozen lawsuits filed over its Nov. 23 recall of Old Spice and Secret spray deodorants found to contain benzene, a known carcinogen. Last month, Soukup made an appearance before the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation and filed a motion to coordinate the cases, all consumer class actions, in the Southern District of Florida, where U.S. District Judge Anuraag Singhal oversees similar lawsuits brought over Johnson & Johnson’s sunscreen recall.
