Meet the Wing Leaders
These community heroes are leading the way to a brighter future. Their stories inspire us to elevate their causes and create positive change.
Mercury Insurance and the Anaheim Ducks share a common goal of uplifting our SoCal community, which is why we’re thrilled to introduce The Ducks Hall of Heroes! This program is all about celebrating the everyday champions of our community – teachers, healthcare workers, volunteers, and so many more whose leadership keeps the OC going strong. With your help, we want everyone to know their names.
Danielle Judd is the Founder & CEO of FarmHouse Friends, a nonprofit that brings smiles to children battling cancer through rescued farm animals and creative programs like Smile Boxes and virtual farm cams. Inspired by her own journey of healing, Danielle leads with passion to connect children and families with the joy and comfort that animals bring, while offering a safe and loving environment for the animals to thrive.

RJ De Rama
RJ De Rama is a survivor of retinoblastoma, an eye cancer that shaped his commitment to resilience and inclusion. He is the co-founder of the OC Makapo Aquatics Project, an Orange County nonprofit that offers mixed-ability outrigger paddling programs for the community. RJ also serves on the City of Irvine’s Irvine Residents with Disabilities Advisory Committee, where he advocates for accessibility and community engagement. His dedication to his community continues to build connections and create meaningful change.
Mike Anderson is a seasoned music industry professional with over 50 years of experience as a musician, songwriter, manager, promoter, and consultant. He co-founded R.Y.T.M.O. in 2003, a nonprofit that has provided music education and opportunities to more than 55,000 underserved youth worldwide. He has also served on the boards of the Orange County Symphony and other organizations dedicated to expanding access to music education. Today, he continues to mentor artists, champion music education through RYTMO, and serve as Board President of Vibrant Minds Charter School.

Yvonne Temal serves as Vice President of We Explore Earth, helping lead their mission to share the transformative power of the outdoors with communities in Orange County and beyond. She is passionate about creating inclusive, conservation & educational nature experiences that inspire individuals of all ages to grow stronger together through time in nature. Her leadership embodies the belief that the outdoors is for everyone, regardless of age, background, or skill level.
