Sports tourism is now almost a $7 billion industry annually, with places rich in history like The Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto declared a must-see. Toronto is the center for sports in Canada with most of the country’s professional teams being located there. The Raptors, Canada’s only NBA team, recently won the 2019 Championship and in the pavilion outside the arena playfully named ‘Jurassic Park’, fans gathered in the tens of thousands to watch the games. This experience was duplicated across Canada as Jurassic Parks popped up in more than 37 cities allowing fans from all over to unite in celebration. Opposing players and media alike remarked that they had never seen or felt anything like this.
Toronto is not just the hub for sports in Canada, it is home to some of “Canada’s Teams”, meaning that when they win, a whole nation rises to its feet.

The Indigenous Collection housed at the Art Gallery of Ontario, one of North America’s most distinguished galleries, includes breathtaking works from the First Peoples of North America, namely First Nations, Inuit, and Metis. Manasie Akpaliapik's large ivory sculpture is one of the most popular pieces on display.
For minds that are curious for something more modern, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) invites you to marvel at Slovenian artist Apolonija Sustersic’s light therapy room as part of its exploration of the role galleries play in supporting well-being.

Toronto is a place where you can find entertainment around every corner. The biggest names in music stop here and pack large venues including the picturesque outdoor Budweiser Stage at Echo Beach. Equally, you can also check out up-and-coming bands in a smaller club before they break big during the city-wide NXNE Festival.
Whatever your preferred genre is, there’s a variety of live shows on any given night that will blow you away. You can rock out to a punk band at the Horseshoe Tavern, dance to live salsa music at Lula Lounge, enjoy some smooth jazz at the Rex or sway to country music at Owl’s Club.

Toronto’s greatest icon, and the hero of any skyline photo, is the CN Tower. While people immediately recognize the tower, many don’t know that visitors can experience life on the edge with EdgeWalk, a full circle, hands-free walk on a five-foot-wide ledge encircling the top of the Tower's main pod...116 stories above the ground!
