Asia witnessed a significant uptick in the adoption of W&I and tax insurance solutions over the last few years given the growing sophistication of the region’s M&A market. Deal sizes are increasing across Asia, particularly in South Korea, India, China and Japan. In South East Asia, W&I is increasingly utilised in both inbound and outbound investments from countries such as Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia as market participants gain familiarity with the product.
