Arcadis were instructed to undertake a measured surveys at a new build residential development in West London. The scheme comprises 605 new homes, 40% of which will be affordable housing, as well as 3,500sqm of office and commercial space, a nursery and health facility, extensively landscaped public areas and a new road.
The purpose of the survey was to provide a schedule of internal area measurements along with corresponding layout plans.

The Silvertown Way is a stunning development providing 975 residential units; a
152-bedroom hotel; 3,000 sq.m. of flexible commercial floor space; a nursery including commercial and food outlets to the lower floors. The site benefits from an enhanced public realm with cycle ways, tree planting and public squares and amenity space.
Arcadis undertook a measured survey of pre-selected apartments and areas in Blocks A & B which comprises of 300 residential apartments with mixed use and communal areas to the ground floor.

Peckham Place is a mixed-use building within the Woddene Estate in Peckham, London. The scheme comprises 54 social rent, 78 private sale and 201 shared ownership residential units, onecommercial unit, a below ground carpark and a private resident’s courtyard garden.
Arcadis were instructed to provide a full set of floor plans including area measurements of Block B (5 buildings and approx. 121 apartments).

The use of 3D laser scanners has become normal practice in the geospatial industry allowing surveyors to deliver fast, accurate data whilst maximising project safety and worker efficiency by negating the need to return to site.
