The Proposition
We have captured data on 500 stations and the way they have performed to support societal, economic, business, mobility and resilience issues and how the attributes of the stations have or haven’t supported change.
What we bring
Future mobility needs (multi-modal, autonomous etc.)
• Demographics
• Resilience
• Business aspirations
This will allow the team to identify areas for negotiation or potential investment to ensure that the Airport Station is well placed to support APAMs business requirements.
Arcadis has experience across airports, stations, rail networks, resilience and mobility globally. We know and work with Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) on a regular basis.
Your team bring in depth understanding of the strategic growth aspirations for the MABP, Melbourne Airport and the business fundamentals that will underpin those aspirations.
Together, we can identify the way in which APAM can best influence and negotiate the critical attributes of the station that are going to empower or inhibit your growth aspirations.
We propose that you will need assistance in assessing how well the station location (vertical and horizontal), patronage allowances, multi-modal capacity, future proofing, utility requirements, security approach and resilience will match your aspirations for the precinct. We also believe that the business potential of the station can be enhanced with the right data capture approach and the application of analytics that will help Melbourne Airport to enhance user experience, identify new business lines and understand the demographics of the users.
To do this work, we are offering a team of specialist station, precinct, business case and data consultants, armed with a global research study where we have captured data on 500 stations and the way they have performed to support societal, economic, business, mobility and resilience issues and how the attributes of the stations have or haven’t supported change.
This data has allowed us to build a tool based process, Mobility Oriented Development environment (MODe), that can be used as a reverse brief for this project and to understand the implications of the station attributes and where they will or wont support aspirations for the precinct.
The plugins to the MODe tool can be tailored to suit the criteria that best suits APAM’s needs. Our team would work with your team to develop those inputs and how they are weighted. Examples include:
