Wolfspeed WolfPACK modules are designed to provide system scalability and flexibility. How? They come with a variety of features, which makes them a perfect fit for designers with mid-power–rating requirements. Implementation is a snap (literally). They provide higher ampacity, smaller size, press-fit pin interconnects, and market pin-to-pin compatibility, all of which help in simplifying designs with optimized performance and increased speed to market.

Wolfspeed WolfPACK modules are built using Wolfspeed’s silicon carbide. SiC technology has powered Wolfspeed’s MOSFETs, Schottky diodes, and power modules for more than 6 trillion hours of end-customer usage worldwide. As a result, Wolfspeed’s SiC solutions offer higher performance and increased reliability when compared with traditional silicon in most applications.

Electric vehicles are the future of transportation, and creating charging infrastructure to support them is a big task — and that means today’s power systems need to keep up. Wolfspeed WolfPACK modules use all-SiC components in half-bridge and six-pack topologies. While these configurations can also be achieved by adding multiple discrete devices, a Wolfspeed WolfPACK module offers a more compact unit with highly reliable press-fit connections to the circuit board and delivers higher ampacity through an isolated backside. The results: simple circuits and easier optimization.
