Mungari Mine Prescriptive Maintenance Implementation
In this session, Brandon will discuss the successful implementation of a prescriptive maintenance solution at Evolution Mining’s Mungari operation in Western Australia. In early 2020, Paul Robbins, Group Head for Asset Effectiveness at Evolution Mining, began looking at data-enabled business enhancements for technology to improve the company’s asset performance and productivity. Working with maintenance operations and subject matter experts, Paul and his team put a tangible value on the cost incurred by the company for a specific unplanned downtime event from failure. Implementation of the prescriptive maintenance solution enables the mine to operate more efficiently, more profitably, and with fewer safety and environmental concerns—all while quickly demonstrating a return on investment.
