Corrosion is one of refining’s most persistent challenges, often addressed through reactive monitoring of wall thickness alone. AspenTech’s AI-powered corrosion management solution goes further—combining wall thickness measurements with real-time process conditions and crude blend data to uncover the true causes of corrosion and predict when it will occur.
This deeper insight enables operators to respond quickly to early signs of accelerated corrosion, forecast risky conditions before they develop and optimize process parameters and crude mix to mitigate damage. The result: longer asset life, improved reliability and reduced unplanned downtime.
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Refiners face growing challenges in scaling AI fragmented data, siloed systems and difficulty operationalizing pilots into enterprise-wide impact. This presentation will highlight how combining Industrial AI with a robust data strategy helps overcome these barriers, enabling real-time decisions, trusted outcomes and scalable value capture. Attendees will see how a strong AI and data foundation can drive efficiency, safety and sustainable growth.
