What Value Will I Get From This?
Flaggers are responsible for protecting both fellow construction workers as well as the public. The National Safety Council (NSC) Flagger course teaches attendees how to perform the duties of a flagger as we recognize associated hazards. NSC training is highly desirable for any tradesperson tasked with directing traffic around or through a work zone.
NSC is a recognized certification by the Department of Transportation and the course content follows Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This course satisfies Federal, State (Illinois) and local flagger certification requirements.
This is a 4-hour training program. Participants must be present for the classroom and practical portion to receive an NSC Flagger Certification ID card.
