The year 2020 will be remembered by Keenan employees as the year we all worked on an IMPACT @Home project. The staff undertook a small, but significant “at-home” project as part of our virtual IMPACT DAY.

We wrote over 4,000 cards for homebound individuals, to help brighten their day and then distributed them to several Meals on Wheels programs throughout the state, as well as the Motion Picture and Television Fund’s retirees.

When the pandemic hit, it became obvious that in-person mentoring would no longer be possible. Keenan employees embraced the challenge and continued to foster their relationships with their mentees, albeit virtually. Our mentors started to meet with their mentees via Zoom in 2020 and continue to do so in 2021.
On Thursday, October 10, 2019, members of our Management Team and our CSR Committee took part in Keenan’s first-ever “Home Creation” with A Sense of Home.
Although 2020 was a rough year for everyone, Keenan continued to support many local foundations and nonprofit organizations. Our financial contributions to these organizations was close to $260,000!

On Thursday, February 20, 2020, eight members of our staff took part in our second “Home Creation” with A Sense of Home, an organization that strives to prevent homelessness by creating first-ever homes for youth aging out of foster care with donated furniture and home goods.
Our team was able to help design and furnish an apartment for a youth who was struggling with homelessness.
As the world returns to normal, we look forward to participating in many more “Home Creations”.
