The Kodiaq is available with a smooth
and punchy 148bhp 1.5-litre TSI four-
cylinder petrol engine, plus a pair of 2.0-litre TSI units – one producing 187bhp and the
other a muscular 242bhp in the sporty
Kodiaq vRS. Buyers also have the choice
of two four-cylinder TDI diesel engines, developing either 148bhp or 197bhp
Boot space
Whatever your needs, the Kodiaq has plenty of luggage capacity. The five-seat version offers a huge 835-litre boot, expanding to 2,065 litres with the rear seats folded. The seven-seater offers 270 litres with all seats up, 765 with the rear row folded, and 2,005 with the middle row stowed also.

The Kodiaq looks better than ever after a recent styling refresh, which enhanced the handsome looks with a new grille, a revised split-headlight design and a new bonnet,
while at the rear there are new tail-lights
and a sharper-looking redesigned
rear bumper.
A whole host of technology aimed at
keeping you and those around you safe is available on the Kodiaq. Highlights include Blind Spot Detect, Full LED Matrix
headlights to better light the road ahead,
and a Pedestrian Monitor, which can slow
the car down if someone walks out
in front of the vehicle.
All Kodiaq models come with a
smooth-shifting dual-clutch automatic transmission as standard, called DSG or ‘Direct Shift Gearbox’. For those wanting superior traction, it’s possible to pair this transmission with a capable four-wheel drive system.
