In the global community
We believe bold steps define the future. In 2015, we pledged to invest $1.1 billion in pro bono consulting over 10 years to help leading social pioneers scale and amplify their impact. In recent years, we’ve used this investment as a springboard to mobilize the kind of innovative, inclusive partnerships needed to deliver systemic change.
We’re proud of the progress we continue to make since our founding in 1973.
Our dedication to social and environmental standards starts at home—we embed these values in our firm strategy. Certified carbon neutral since 2012 and regularly ranked as one of the best places to work, we take steps every day to reduce our environmental footprint, create a more diverse and welcoming workplace for employees, procure supplies and services sustainably, and practice the highest levels of ethics.

This year, we're celebrating 10 consecutive years of carbon neutrality across our global operations. This means we offset 100% of our greenhouse gas emissions, including every flight, taxi, and train that our employees take to visit clients, as well as every kilowatt-hour of energy required to power our 61 offices.

In February, we named François Faelli as our first-ever global managing partner of ESG, a role that oversees our collective ambition of creating a more sustainable, equitable and inclusive world.
In an industry-leading move, we achieved net-negative carbon status, meaning we purchase sufficient carbon credits funding high-quality, nature-based and innovative carbon removal projects to offset more than 100% of our scopes 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions.
Let’s go Further
This calls for a new model of leadership and collaboration, one that sets the bar high and clears it, again and again. One that builds momentum as it scales, inspires game-changing innovation, and unlocks the power of every organization to create a more sustainable, equitable, and inclusive world.
Together we can change the story of climate change.
Let’s go further, together.
No more delays, deliberations or de-prioritizations. The inflection point has arrived: Companies must build ESG
into the fabric of their business now, to accelerate the energy transition, transform our food systems, and advance diversity. The challenges facing businesses and communities are too pressing, too critical, too connected, to wait any longer. Disruption is a fact of life. Leading companies are moving ahead regardless.

We furthered our sustainability ambitions by signing the Business Ambition for 1.5⁰ C and committing to achieve net-zero carbon status by 2030.
We also earned several accolades: listed in Mogul’s Top 100 Workplaces with the Greatest Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives, a Gold recognition from India Workplace Equality Index, and Best Employer of Choice for Gender Equality in Australia.
In an industry-leading move, we achieved net-negative carbon status, meaning we purchase sufficient carbon credits funding high-quality, nature-based and innovative carbon removal projects to offset more than 100% of our scopes 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions.
