Half Dutch and half Mexican, and I always thought that was a unique combo Named after my Dutch great-great-aunt; nobody pronounces my name correctly, but I’m never offended by it Occasionally a stand-in for my husband’s social media projects at work and was on a billboard once An animal lover and self-proclaimed “cat lady”. I also have the sweetest pit bull ever. A major control freak and have to remind myself to “let it go” frequently All about camping, fishing and hiking and I go on annual kayak trips at Turkey Run Married to someone four inches shorter than me – without heels on A band geek at heart; I played clarinet for seven years, piano for a couple and now handbells in my church choir An avid concert-goer – I go to about 20 concerts a year A person with MAJOR anxiety. Agreeing to be featured here made me dizzy and my throat close up.

Fiercely protective and supportive of the important people in my life A proud vegan for nearly 20 years – I can come up with a way to cook tofu that even YOU will like Always listening to music – new artists and old favorites A Peloton-er after pivoting from OrangeTheory Fitness at the start of the pandemic A lifelong boater who has a long list of why spending a summer day floating on a lake is good for your mental health A licensed motorcycle driver who sadly sold my bike after asking “Why are other drivers so disrespectful?” enough times that I knew I would be pushing my luck if I continued on two wheels In my 21st year at Barnes & Thornburg and still learn something new about our firm almost every day

An Indiana native, but lived in California and Michigan before returning to Indiana – I hope to retire to someplace tropical An empath, so negativity literally makes me sick A music lover of all genres and live music. I cannot play any instruments, but I want to learn the guitar so I can play Hotel California by the Eagles. Wanting to be on a game show because I love trivia! I am full of useless information. Part of a huge family and I am extremely close to ALL of them. It’s not uncommon for 20 or 30 of us to vacation together at one time. Holidays are also CRAZY. A foodie of sorts, so I love to try new eateries. As a child who traveled a lot due to military parents, I was exposed to different cultures and restaurants. I learned that “I’ll have the chicken!” works just about anywhere. A HUGE sports fan. I love all sports and grew up playing basketball, volleyball and softball. My husband and I recently played in softball and bowling leagues. These days I’m exploring yoga. A sci-fi fan. I love anything related to vampires and werewolves. I don’t like zombies because, of course, they are not real. Very social and love meeting new people Very BLESSED
