Expanded recruiting to six schools:
Hosted 10 events during fall semester, up from three in
2021 — a 233% increase
Furthered relationship with Howard University by hiring its Accounting Chair for a summer 2022 faculty externship with BDO's Audit Data Analytics group.
Participated in the Accounting Scholars Development Program (ASDP) to promote the transition to a four-year college through Howard University’s Center for Accounting Education.
Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) Recruiting
Hosted, for the second year, a program for college freshman and sophomores to help navigate decisions about their major, internship and career.
Encouraged students in traditionally underrepresented communities to apply. Promoted program to all schools, and internally to BDO’s Multicultural Alliance and Black, Hispanic & Latinx and Pan-Asian Professionals Yammer groups.

At annual conventions, interviewed 29 candidates and extended 15 offers with 11 accepting.

Created opportunities for all voices to celebrate what’s important to them through update to religious holiday approach.
Hosted variety of firmwide events, including: two “Get to Know India” webinars and promotion celebrations.
