The BDO Health Equity Survey surveyed 153 hospital executives and leaders in diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) regarding their plans to understand, address and measure health equity challenges. The survey was conducted by the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Market Intelligence Unit, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare in quality, safety, cost-effectiveness and access through the best use of information technology and management systems. The survey was conducted in July 2021.
