One of the reasons I chose BDO as a new career path on my journey in life was the inclusion we offer employees. As I was interviewing, Pride month was in full swing, and BDO had the Pride logo on their website. That let me know this was a place that I could feel included, free to be myself, safe amongst my peers. So BDO quickly went to the shortlist of companies I was ready to call home. Being able to be myself, without hiding, and working at a company that supports me, is super important.

I’ve been involved in the Pride Alliance since its inception at BDO as an ally. It’s always been important to me because we spend so much of our time in the office with our colleagues and creating an open environment where everyone can be themselves supports more meaningful relationships. The BDO Pride Alliance is truly helping people thrive everyday through its efforts of creating an inclusive, supportive work environment where everyone can feel comfortable!
