About the CLIENT

Jefferson La Mesa is a new construction luxury apartment building in the heart of downtown La Mesa. The building is comprised of contemporary floor plans ranging from studios to three bedroom layouts. They have a dual level fitness center, state of the art yoga studio, swimming pool with spa and cabanas and many more amenity spaces.

THE Challenge

The customer wanted to create a high-end residential environment in the heart of La Mesa. This space needed to attract the correct clientele and provide amenity spaces that warranted the luxury lifestyle brand. Attraction and engagement were the top two areas of focus. bkm worked with the A+D firm, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, to complete the vision they initially sold to the client as well.

Our focus was on the amenity spaces and dialing those up to fit the luxury aesthetic. The end result was a collaboration of Carrier Johnson + CULTURE's vision and FRINGE’s execution.

The bkm FRINGE team focused on dialing in Carrier Johnson + CULTURE's vision through curated art, decor, replica greenery, lighting and various additives. Adding layers to the space with rugs and pillows created the soft, luxe environment they were searching for. We provided art in many different mediums; printed, dimensional wall hung pieces and sculptural floor pieces. We collaborated very closely with Carrier Johnson + CULTURE through the entire process and worked on a multitude of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
