Solar Turbines sought to revamp their Customer Support Center building, aiming to modernize a space that no longer met their employees' daily needs. While bkm OfficeWorks had previously updated the Customer Experience Center area in 2019, the scope of this project was significantly larger, covering both floors of the building. The goal was clear: create a refreshed, functional, and engaging workspace that encourages employees to return to the office and perform their best.

Before engaging bkm OfficeWorks, Solar Turbines was grappling with a dated workspace, equipped with old furniture that hindered employee productivity. The space was in dire need of a comprehensive overhaul—everything from lighting, flooring, wall coverings, and furniture required updating to meet modern office standards.

Solar Turbines brought on the exceptional Hollander Design Group (HDG), a long-standing partner of bkm OfficeWorks for 17 years, to spearhead the architectural and design efforts. With their expertise, the interior space was transformed into a state-of-the-art work environment, creating a dynamic and functional space for employees.
This collaboration involved updating both floors of the building with modern furniture, optimized layouts, and enhanced interior architecture, including the installation of VIA Privacy Walls. The project benefited from excellent communication between all stakeholders, allowing for smooth execution despite a fluctuating schedule.

RESULTS
This project is part of an ongoing collaboration between bkm OfficeWorks and Solar Turbines, with numerous successful projects completed at both their Kearny Mesa and downtown HQ campuses.
