Together, they envisioned Zephyr + Legends Sandbox, a shared workspace in the heart of Solana Beach designed to cultivate collaboration, creativity, and social interaction between their dynamic teams. Embracing a hospitality-inspired aesthetic, the space features soft architectural details and high-end finishes that balance sophistication with comfort, creating an environment that seamlessly blends functionality with an elevated workplace experience.

Before engaging bkm, Zephyr & Legends sought to create a unified environment where both teams felt equally represented. The challenge was to design a space that harmonized their distinct brand identities while integrating hospitality-driven elements. The aesthetic needed to strike a balance between trendy and timeless, as well as masculine and feminine, ensuring a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.

One of the most memorable aspects of the project was the finish selection process. ID Studios curated an exquisite palette that set the tone for the entire space, enhanced by the client’s keen eye for detail. The design incorporated rich textures, including nubby fabrics, plush velvets, durable faux leathers, and earthy tones. A key design goal was to blur the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor environments, seamlessly extending the beauty of the courtyard into the workspace for a natural, flowing connection.
