Layer your reds thoughtfully: Combining 8.4 with 7.32 at the root creates a sophisticated garnet base that reads rich, not flat.
Use targeted lift, not blanket lightening: BB Bleach Easy Lift 7 with 10vol is ideal for refining specific areas without compromising overall health and depth.
Toner as the “final glaze”: Color Wear 8.44 plus copper pigments is the finishing touch that pushes the result into true “flame” territory.

Method
1. Create Your Wet Balayage Canvas
On damp hair, mix BB Bleach Easy Lift 7 with 30vol Oxido at a 1:2 ratio.
Paint a wet balayage pattern through mids and ends where you want lift and cherry dimension, focusing on surface pieces and areas that naturally catch the light.
Process according to manufacturer’s directions, then rinse and gently towel dry.
2. Build the “Noir” Root Depth
Mix Evolution of the Color 6.4 with 30vol Oxido at a 1:1.5 ratio.
Apply through the root area, working in sections to create a deep, sultry base that anchors the look.
3. Paint the Cherry EndsMix Evolution of the Color 7.4 and 7.62 with 40vol Oxido at a 1:1.5 ratio.
Apply through mids and ends, blending into the root formula to create a seamless transition from deep cherry at the base to a brighter cherry hue through the lengths.
Use the previous balayage placement as a guide to maximize light reflection and contrast.
4. Process and Rinse
Process according to Alfaparf Milano guidelines, monitoring the richness and brightness of the cherry tones.
Rinse thoroughly, then cleanse and condition as needed to lock in shine and softness.
5. Style & Define the Dimension
Blow dry and style to reveal the Cherry Noir contrast—soft waves, curls, or bends will help showcase the interplay between the darker roots and brighter cherry ribbons.
Finish with products that enhance reflection to make the cherry tones appear even more luxe and glossy.

with a side of diva
Active for the full 2 hours: Blonde Solutions is formulated with an extended active lifting life, giving you more time and control on dark or resistant hair without constantly remixing.
Saturation is everything: Ultra-fine slices with almost no leave-out and full product saturation are key. Treat every section like you’re dipping a marshmallow, completely coated from root to end.
Chrome = toner + treatment: Chrome Liquid Toner is non-oxidative and doubles as a deep conditioning treatment, so you can process to your ideal tone while leaving the hair feeling soft and healthy—and yes, it smells like bubblegum, making the experience feel like dessert for your client.
Serves:
Method
1. Prep & Protect
Assess the hair’s starting level, history, and integrity. This look is ideal for clients committed to a major transformation.
Prep the hair and incorporate K18 as directed to help support and protect the hair during and after lightening.
2. Mix Your “Marshmallow” Lightener
In a non-metallic bowl, combine Blonde Solutions Pigmented Powder with Blonde Solutions 20-Volume Pigmented Developer.
Whisk thoroughly for 2–4 full minutes.
This extended whisking time allows the pigmented capsules to fully burst, giving you maximum control over unwanted warmth and a silky, glossy, whipped consistency.
3. Section & Slice the CanvasTake tiny, paper-thin slices with almost zero leave-out.
Continue this technique across the entire head for a fully saturated blonde result.
Load each section into Fast Foils to trap endothermic heat—your blonde “oven” for clean, even lift.
4. Process for Big Lift
Allow up to two hours of active lift, especially when working from very dark levels (such as a level 1 natural black).
Blonde Solutions maintains active lifting power for the full two hours, unlike many traditional bleaches that lose strength after 45–60 minutes.
5. Check, Reapply, Refine
At around the 1-hour mark, check the foils to ensure the hair is lifting evenly.
Reapply fresh lightener wherever needed to maintain uniform development and coverage.
Keep saturation high; each slice should be fully coated for the cleanest possible lift.
6. Rinse & Tone
Once the desired level of lift is achieved, rinse thoroughly and gently cleanse if needed.
Apply Chrome Liquid Toner to towel-dried hair.
Process for 35 minutes for an extra ash kick or leave on longer until you reach the desired tone—this non-oxidative formula can sit as long as needed without compromising the hair.
7. Finish & Style
Rinse out the toner and follow with any additional care steps as desired.
Style to showcase the cool, smoky-platinum melt and “swirled” dimension from roots to ends.

Smoked Marshmallow Swirl is a full-head, smoky-platinum melt designed for big lifts. Let it inspire you to take even the darkest levels to a cool, glossy blonde. Follow the fringe: The look relies on clean panels that track the length and direction of the fringe, so keep your sections crisp so the front colors merge seamlessly.
V-shape = built-in drama: The V-shaped placement from nape to forehead creates a natural focal point and emphasizes the asymmetric cut when the hair moves.
Pre-lightening is key: A controlled lift with 11A + Blonding Cream brightens the canvas just enough for the plum, honey, and copper tones to show true without sacrificing integrity.

Wet balayage = soft blend: Working on damp hair with BB Bleach Easy Lift 7 and 30vol creates a diffused lift that’s perfect for deep red palettes—no harsh lines, just seamless brightness.
Depth at the root keeps it chic: Using 6.4 at the root with 30vol ensures the look stays sophisticated and “noir,” rather than overly bright from scalp to ends.
Double cherry at the ends: The combination of 7.4 and 7.62 at the ends with 40vol creates a multi-note cherry: bold enough to pop, but still cohesive with the deeper base.

Perfect for content: This shade photographs beautifully under natural light. Capture after photos from multiple angles to showcase both root depth and fiery dimension.

Plan for a “tasting menu” service: This is a multi-step transformation with correction, repair, lightening, and toning. Set clear expectations around time (6.5 hours) and price so clients understand the value of the process.
Protect at every stage: K18 Clarifying Shampoo and Molecular Repair Mask are used repeatedly to keep the hair strong and resilient through aggressive correction and lightening.
Build your developer gradually: Starting at 10 volume and working up to 20 volume helps control lift, maintain hair integrity, and avoid over-processing in more fragile areas.
Serves:
Method
1. Lift Out the Old “Flavor”
Perform 3 rounds of RUSK Elimin8 Color Corrector to remove the dark cherry permanent color.
After each round, shampoo with K18 Clarifying Shampoo to thoroughly cleanse and prep the canvas.
2. Repair and Prep Before the Main Course
At the chair, generously apply K18 Molecular Repair Mask throughout the hair.
Let it sit for 4 minutes to begin rebuilding before heat styling.
Blow dry the hair completely in preparation for full lightening.
3. Full-Head Lightening ApplicationUsing Joico Silver Light Lightener, start your application in the back with 10 volume developer.
As you move through the head, gradually increase the developer, finishing with 20 volume on the final sections.
Work in a teasy-light / balayage pattern to create a lived-in, blended result.
4. Rinse, Tone, and Refine
Once the first foils in the back are ready, begin removing and rinsing.
Shampoo with K18 Clarifying Shampoo again to cleanse post-lightening.
Immediately tone using Pravana Express Tones in Beige:
– Apply first at the base, allowing it to process for a few minutes to refine the root area.
– Pull the toner through mid-lengths and ends and process for an additional 5 minutes, or until the desired beige balance is reached.
5. Final Rinse and Treatment
Rinse thoroughly and shampoo one last time with K18 Shampoo.
Skip traditional conditioner.
Apply K18 Molecular Repair Mask and leave on for 4 minutes to activate.
6. Final Rinse and Treatment
Apply Heat Bounce Thermal Protectant and K18 Serum.
Blow dry and style as usual to reveal the soft, dimensional, lived-in balayage finish.

a hint of “born this way”
Balance your warmth: The combination of 6/34 and 6/44 creates a rich, wearable copper. Adjust the ratio slightly warmer or softer depending on your client’s skin tone and comfort level with warmth.
Let the highlights do the “sparkle”: The 7/4 + 9/04 highlight formula adds brightness without losing the copper story. Place foils where the light naturally hits—around the face and on the surface—to maximize impact.
Perfect for copper-curious clients: This is a great “gateway” formula for clients who want to lean into orange and copper tones while still keeping depth at the base and softness in the overall look.
Serves:
Method
1. Mix Your Highlight “Brightener”
In your first bowl, mix Davines 7/4 and 9/04 with 20 volume developer according to manufacturer’s directions.
Aim for a creamy consistency that will stay put in foils while delivering controlled lift and warmth.
2. Place the Copper Highlights
Section the hair for your preferred highlighting pattern (weave, slice, or a combination depending on desired brightness).
Apply the 7/4 + 9/04 + 20 volume mixture in foils, focusing on areas where you want the most reflection and pop.
Work cleanly and with full saturation to ensure even lift and tone.
3. Mix Your “Main Course” BaseIn a second bowl, mix 40g Davines 6/34 with 32g Davines 6/44.
Add 20 volume developer, following Davines mixing ratios for permanent color.
Stir thoroughly until the color and developer are fully blended.
4. Apply the Base Color
Apply the 6/34 + 6/44 + 20 volume mixture to the base in between the foils, making sure to fully saturate the regrowth and mids.
Once the foils are secure and the base is applied, use any remaining base mixture to pull through the hair that was left out of the foils for a cohesive, coppery finish.
5. Process, Rinse, and Refine
Process both foils and base according to Davines’ recommended timing, monitoring the warmth and depth as you go.
Rinse thoroughly, starting with the foils and then the base.
Shampoo and condition as needed, then prepare the hair for styling.
6. Style & Showcase
Blow dry and style to enhance the multi-dimensional copper—waves or bends will really show off the contrast between the brighter pieces and the rich base.
Capture photos from multiple angles to show the glow and movement.
