“I have two suites, so I could make one space a consultation area that feels like a living room,” says Rosenberg. “With aesthetics services, the clients can feel very vulnerable as they share what they don’t like about their appearance. Coming from a doctor’s office, which can be very cold and clinical, it was important to me to make my clients feel comfortable and relaxed before their procedures.”

“My clients love the flexibility I offer and that I’m able to see them at any time,” Rosenberg says. “About 90% of my clientele is female and they are so grateful they don’t have to use PTO or vacation time to book an appointment, but, instead, I can be available to them when it works for them and help get them ready for their vacation!”
“It’s like Fort Knox,” laughs Jean-Baptiste. “We have 24-hour access by key fob, and once you’re inside, all doors, all access is shut, and we can only access it through the key fob. When I was moving in, and still working during the day at my previous location, it was so helpful to have access when I needed it.”
The Privacy
Floor-to-ceiling walls mean your suite is totally private. The ceilings in each Suite are built to reduce and control noise—that means peace and quiet for you, your employees, and your clients.
“Many of my clients, especially Black women, have experienced a lot of trauma when it comes to their hair, and I had a hard time keeping our conversations private when I was in a salon,” says Jean-Baptiste. “Today, once my clients enter my suite, it is just me and them, and we can have a full-day appointment, and they are surprised by how quickly the time passes because they are so relaxed.
“The privacy is also important to me when working with my clients of Muslim faith who observe the practice of not revealing their hair to anyone outside their immediate family. The privacy of my salon suite offers a respectful environment where they can receive hair care services with complete comfort."
