success?
The return to office decisions of some of Canada’s largest employers, including banks and the federal government, have been the talk of the town in the
first quarter of 2023. But policies mandating a return
to the office are not always popular. According to
a Robert Half survey, 87 per cent of surveyed employees considering a job change were looking
at hybrid or fully remote roles; 32 per cent working from the office at least one day a week said they’d
be willing to take a pay cut to be fully remote.
Put the focus on collaboration
and culture building. Emphasize
this purpose in any return-to-work policy or messaging.
