Fuel Contamination
Fuel Contamination
Poor Fuel Filtration
Non-OE Quality Part
Incorrect Installation
Problem:
How does the water get into the fuel? A vented cap allows air to enter the storage tank to equalize pressure as the
fuel flows out. The outside air contains moisture and this moisture condenses into water inside the tank.
Solution:
Always purchase fuel from a reputable service provider and use a proper fuel/water separator.
Causes:
• Water in fuel
• Poor quality fuel supply
• Inadequate filtration, water separation
• Indequate maintenance interval
Effects:
• Poor performance
• Idling problems (vibration)
Problem:
A proper seal is critical for injector performance. Abrasive contaminants can erode and damage the ball seat causing the ball not to seal properly leading to improper injection.
Solution:
Use OE filters or filters having the same OE micron rating and follow the recommended OE filter change interval. Using anything less can cost you more in the long run!
Causes:
• Inadequate filtration
• Poor quality fuel supply
• Indequate maintenance intervals
Effects:
• Starting problems
• Poor performance
• Idling problems (vibration)

New Bosch Valve Body uniform grinding on a orifice
Bosch conducted a comprehensive evaluation of various remanufactured common rail fuel injectors. Using advanced testing equipment and on-vehicle assessments, over 50% of these injectors were found to be subpar and posed a significant risk to diesel common rail systems.
Non-OE Quality Part
Problem:
Incorrect installation can include: missing sealing rings, incorrect tightening torque and incorrect cleaning of the nozzle. This causes poor performance, misfiring, black smoke and check engine light (MIL) to come on.
Solution:
Always follow the engine manufacturer's maintenance procedures.
Causes:
• Missing sealing ring incorrect procedure and/or tightening torque when installed
• Inadequate filtration, water separation
• Inadequate maintenance interval
Effects:
• Poor performance
• Idling problems (vibration)

Combustion residue on outside of injector
Non-OEM approved remanufactured injectors' quality depends on the remanufacturing process and components used. Our testing revealed deviations from original specifications and corrosion in components from non-authorized injectors, compromising performance. While these non-OEM products may seem cost-effective, they carry a substantial risk, as they may not perform better than the injectors you intend to replace.
